finished this quilt top!

 This is a pattern called Chop Sticks.  I switched it up and used a bunch of scraps to thin my fabric piles.  If I had it to do again I would probably switch a few blocks around but otherwise I love it!  Next step, quilting it when I feel like standing for about 8 hours.  Its king sized (photo is on queen size) so it will be a doozie to iron and quilt.

Dumbest stop sign ever.

This may be hard to see, but it is a dumb stop sign. There are no cross roads.  No paths.  Just a field.  And a stop sign.  i make sure to run this EVERY time I go to my dad's neighborhood because a) a cop can;t hide anywhere on a straight flat road and b) it infuriates me.

Owls

Mom, where is the crystal owl?  As a kid i played with it all the time when you weren't home to tell me to get my dirty paws off of it. 

I feel like 1 or 2 others are missing. I am afraid to put them on display at home or work because people might think i collect owls and start adding to the collection with sub par owls. So i reorganized their home and gave them a fresh box.  They outgrew that Agner shoe box from 1986.
